KAKYUU : blooming

my first version of Princess Kakyuu, worn to Anime Boston 2006. won first place for Catzia's Halloween Cosplay Contest, 2006.

construction notes
~ crown was made of black and gold construction paper, craft jewels, beads, and foam.
~ wig is the Z in "Ravished" from Amphigory. extentions bought from Dr. Locks. i made a loop in the extentions and then tied them into the wig cap.
~ necklace is part foam and part ribbon; the tassels were found in the craft section of Walmart. XD
~ shirt was a tshirt, but i added the bias tape and sleeves.
~ bloomers were shorts found secondhand, petal skirt was just material wrapped around me
~ shoes were red bedtime slippers. XD they were comfy!
